Nah. Cats will soon teach him/her what to do. I've never waited. I've had poms and cats at various ages. It's just joining the pack mentality. No matter what age. They soon learn who's the boss. Generally the cats, lol.

Yeah, I kind of adore him too! He's quite the king of the house though. Little guys tend to have bigger hearts but the cats run rings round him.

Umm not sure but it keeps his butt warm so I don't see him complaining. He has no fur that end. His front end however is still fluffy. If he didn't like it , he can easily get it off. The jumper however doesn't come off. He was shivering a lot so we put it on. We have a coal/wood burner but we don't have it on during the day so no central heating. Dogs and cats just have thicker winter coat.
