Setting up Verizon Blackberry Tour Wifi Hotspot for Ipad Wifi

I have a Blackberry Tour and Ipad Wifi 16 Gig.

Normally I have internet access but for the times I don't, I want to use my Blackberry as my "hotspot"

I have tried using PDANET and the ipad sees the Blackberry Tour but never connects or pairs.

I don't want to jailbreak the IPAD.

What is the easiest way to do this? if its paying for software that is fine.

I have unlimited dated on my blackberry.

I have a Palm Pre and use My Tether with it. I have had the Pre for about a year now and using it as a WiFi hotspot with my iPad kills it in about 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

For troubleshooting this I would see if you can connect to your blackberry with another wireless device like a notebook. Jailbreaking a WiFi iPad will not help you connect to a wireless hotspot.
