Tethering iPad to smartphone

Hi, all.

Has anyone tried tethering iPad to a regular smartphone, not an iPhone? I've got an old HTC Blackstone running on Windows Mobile 6.1 (can upgrade to 6.5), so I'm wondering whether I'd be able to make my iPad use its internet. My iPad is jailbroken. Any ideas? Thanks!

The ipad works fine with my android phone...foe a wm phone, You can use an app called WMWifirouter.....its a paid app..but there was a 21 day trial available....haven't used Wm in a long time so haven't kept myself updated on apps....you can also check on the mobilism forums....there are a lot of apps posted there in the Wm section....it originally used to exclusively host Wm apps and stuff
