Almost hurt myself. Troy my cat got hurt. He keeps on crossing in front of people when people go upstairs or downstairs. I didn't slipped. He did. I felt bad for him because everyone heard him cry when he rolled downstairs. Had to bring him to the clinic.

Oh no....I hope Troy is okay! My cat does the same thing, but then I trip over the dog constantly, she likes to follow me everywhere!

Let us know how Troy is.

Yes, please do. Did the clinic find any injuries with Troy?

I also fell over one of our "smalls" a few days ago in a doorway, tried to grab for a handle, missed that but bent my fingers back the way they shouldn't go on the way down. Yuk. The dog was fine--he fled!! but I was stuck down there till my hubbie returned. Now I have a nice bunch of fat bananas on the end of my arm. Useful if I should get hungry.

But--but--but.... I WASN'T carrying my iPad!!! Whew:-)

(Anyone else in UK waiting for the last part of TV's "Line of Duty" next week? I'm feeling very iffy now about what's going to happen next with his fingers...aaauurgh:-( I'm screaming inside...)

Troy's okay. I think he just got surprised by everyone's screaming. No fracture or anything. He was crying for like a minute and I thought he broke a bone. Everyone here said that he looked like a fur ball (being a persian cat) rolling down the stairs.

Very glad Troy is OK. A little kiss from me :-). Cats are so clever at curling their body so they land safely, aren't they?

Wish I was! Yes, thank you Leelai, I'm OK, mostly bruises. But my bananas hurt!

I'm a world expert at falling, always practicing very hard, especially with the Olympics next week. Hoping for the Gold! Please watch :-):-):-)

Just read both of your falling incidents and so happy that all of you are ok!!

I do the same going up and down our circular stairway holding my iPad and not holding the rail. Thankfully nothing has happened, but the risk is always there.

As I read about all the falls, I know now why I live on one floor. I'd kill myself living anyplace with stairs-- although I tell everyone that someday they will find me at the bottom of the basement stairs with a dirty load of laundry. Lol. The washer and dryer are down there.
Seriously now, I'm glad everyone is ok--people and animals. It's funny how much one can care for people one has never met in person.

You should always throw the laundry down the stairs before yourself Mollysmum. :). Leave yourself something to fall back onto ;)

Yes to the last bit. It's what's so great about this forum, isn't it?

And If you suddenly disappear, we'll know where to tell them you can be found....and even if you're not very well, at least you'll be decently clean & dry :-):-)
