Sci--you have quite the archive collection of Mickey cartoons! I bet you have had such enjoyment watching all of them, I know I would! :)

Thanks, I did. I don't know if the collection was ever released on DVD, I haven't looked.

I have one large box set that was never released on DVD. It's the Godfather trilogy. Francis Ford Coppola re-edited the 3 movies and added extra footage to make one 9 hour and 47 minute movie! How's that for an evenings entertainment?

My husband has a few laserdiscs that he has stored away. That was a big thing for a while before the DVDs came out.

I never got rid of any of my laserdisc collection, I have over 500.

Popcorn and soda pop.. and that would make for the perfect evening.

My one and only laserdisc experience was renting a machine and a copy of "The Postman Always Rings Twice."
It was the reboot starring Jack Nicholson, Jessica Lange, John Colicos & Michael Lerner.

The movie hiccuped throughout with stops and starts. There was also some weird picture bending - almost like the image was warped.

Anyway - I pronounced the technology DOA and resumed my uncontrollable consumption of VHS.

My wife bought me the first VHS transfer of
A L I E N as a birthday gift. Mail-order for $109.00 plus delivery.

I've got a copy of the very first VHS release of Star Wars, from 1983. It even has it's own serial number! It's 29 years old and still plays!

What you mean the actual unbutchered by Lucas version :D

The only difference between this version and the theatrical release version is the opening credits. In 1977, the opening credits did not say episode IV, A New Hope. In this release, they do. To my knowledge, there has never been a video release of Star Wars with the original 1977 opening credits.

I also have the laserdisc box set of the Star Wars trilogy. Among the extra features are several trailers for each movie, including the original Revenge of the Jedi trailer, made before the name was changed to Return of the Jedi.

IPad Camera Connection Kit ;)

Can I ask a question about the camera connection kit? I am thinking about asking this from Santa. ...is there an option to select which photos go onto your iPad, or is it an all or none?

Also, if you decided to delete your photos from your Cameral roll on your iPad...is that possible?
