I'm terribly sorry to hear the news (and what a day to find out!) Treatment has come far and there is much that can be done nowadays - so, although it's difficult, try to remain positive. It's amazing what a somewhat sunny disposition can do to bolster someone and help to assuage fears. Best of wishes to you and yours!
