I did find a good site or two while looking for other good sites to download legal DRM-free music but I'm open to good suggestions especially since I'm more into lesser-known artists that don't always have a huge selection on the major sites like iTunes. Any suggestions would be welcome - thanks!
Most of my music comes from ripped CDs. I find CDs too inconvenient, so I'm gradually ripping my entire collection and dumping them into iTunes.
I use a program on the PC called CDex for ripping.
twerppoet said:Just curious; why do you use the CDex app instead of ripping them directly in iTunes. What's the benefit?
Habit. I used CDex before iTunes became mainstream. My player then was WinAmp. I also like to keep a copy outside of iTunes, and transfer stuff in when I've finished working on tags.
