Why don't I see the audio controls when I swipe to the left, after hitting home button twice? All I get is the keyboard
I use shortcuts for Sent from my iPad using iPF.net and Sent from my iPad using iPF .You can add a shortcut for your name to use in your email by going to Settings>General>Keyboard> Add New Shortcut. I have 3 different shortcuts for the 3 ways I identify myself: to students, coworkers and family.
I also use the shortcut function to add new words to the iPad's dictionary. This also gets rid of the annoying red underlining for unrecognized words.

Hello KD.
Regarding the app you described.
Do you mean that if I took a pic of some printed text, (say from a newspaper) I could sent it as a doc file that can be edited?

Scanner Pro does pretty much the same thing, is an excellent app, and is universal. It costs $6.99, but works on both the iPhone and iPad for that price. And the UI is much nicer on the iPad than using an iPhone app.
