Yup. I love the off topic. We don't always need help. My Apple devices run brilliantly nowadays. Or is it, I know it all? Hmm. Bit big headed?
Anyway, what a night, Richard. Bloomin heck. That wind kept me up all night.

Wasn't it just, Hayles. I hope your animals are OK.

Here is a view of the current wind forecast. I guess the wider the arrows, the more sustained the forecast wind gusts.

It must have been sheer hell in the English Channel. The 7.00 am news is covering the gales, floods etc down your way. A woman was killed in Exeter.

It has started to snow here and it's collecting! We are scheduled to have snow up until 11 am than the Sun is suppose to come out. I hope, because I have to hit the Mall for Christmas Shopping!! :)

I'll send you some of mine, we got over a foot and a half in the last two weeks. You can have all you want.

Have you had any snow in Brisbane leelai lol? Christmas in July! How do stand it "Throw another turkey on the barbie mate!" My brother used to call me from Johannesburg on Christmas Day after spending it on the beach.......not for me, but I have always wondered if your Christmas cards have snow scenes or bikini clad babes with Santa hats? This should probably be in Everything Xmas but it is about weather......

No, no snow for us....ever. ;) Brisbane is in the state of Queensland, which is also called the Sunshine state, home to The Great Barrier Reef. Miles and miles of beaches literally, I was actually at Nobby's Beach on the Gold Coast today, soaking up the sun....lovely and hot!

Although there are a couple of places that have had snow and frost before, in winter, but it's rare.

We have every type of Christmas card here.....yes snow scenes, beach scenes, outback, religious....everyone here would love to experience a White Christmas.

And yes a lot of people/restaurants will do Christmas in July.

And even though its incredibly hot here on Christmas Day, a lot of people will still do the traditional roast with all the trimmings and Christmas pudding for dessert, and then hopefully find a pool somewhere to cool off! ;)

Yup! We used to have the full Xmas roast in South Africa too. And yes, the obligatory swim in the pool afterwards. Mind you, the water was so hot, it wasn't refreshing at all.
