Weather

I love these snow pics and am really happy that all I got was a light dusting last night. I just want to look at those beautiful snow pics not live them.

Ok, I just Converted -26°C to Fahrenheit. That number made me cold just looking at it. It's about 24°F and cloudy here. Keep warm.

-19°C, cloudy and windy, with a wind chill of -33°C.

Ah, yes. The wind chill. I found out about that first hand yesterday. I answered the phone and wondered why the phone didn't fit my ear. It was because my ear is frost bitten and is about twice its normal size. And it hurts like the blazes this morning. I'll have to buy a toque.

Be glad it hurts. If it didn't, we'd be calling you one eared Kevin.;)

It didn't hurt at the time. I couldn't understand why the phone didn't fit. My ear is so badly swollen it's sticking out at right angles to my skull. It didn't even feel cold. Base temperature yesterday was around -17°C. I'll have to pay more attention to the wind chill in future.

It never does hurt at the time.:( I got frostbite on my left index finger over 30 years ago, and to this day it's still more sensitive to the cold.

Me too, but not from weather exposure - I was cutting steaks from a frozen salmon with a wood saw and froze my thumb! It was way more painful than a burn when the feeling returns.
