What's new

What are you guys doing right NOW??? ;)

Catching up on the forum, and listening the AWB's "Pick up the Pieces" - their best number, I think, and on their Cut the Cake album.

Sent from my iPad 1 using iPF - Greetings

Just back from a lovely morning riding on "Red Rooster". We were working on the "assault course" which includes Jousting...

Well, not exactly:-)

As part of the course, we had to pick up a "lance" (5 foot long thinnish pole) and with the end of it, pick up a ring hanging from a hook on a stand, carry it to another stand and put it on the hook there.

May not sound very difficult but it's tricky. All this while not poking or spooking the horse with the very unwieldy pole, holding the usual stick & the reins & getting the horse to do what you want. And not drop anything or fall off, either :-)

Beautiful sunny morning too, NOT raining!

I guess that's Red Rooster's portrait, Stranding. He's beautiful.

Yes, that's him, sorry, forgot to say. And yes, he's a very good looking horse, especially with that bleached-blond, summer-time mane. He's my top favourite though don't get to ride him often.

Here he is again, dolled up like a ninny for the dressage at the RDA Nationals at Hartpury, (Gloucs?)

What is the function of that box-like structure to the left of the seats? Not stowage of prams & baggage?

This is a low rider bus, that box like structure houses the right front wheel. The 3 seats to the right of this structure fold up when a wheelchair is on the bus.
