What's new

What are you guys doing right NOW??? ;)

Just received a call that our heat was turned off at our Lake House up north because of a gas leak!

Heading up north ASAP to get the heat back on and make sure the pipes do not freeze!

Geez...love this Winter Season!

Good luck, hope you beat the freeze - and be careful on the road!

Just coming home from the doctor; have to stay at home next week.

Thank you, Zstairlessone-we had a snow fall as we were heading up at 9 pm. The snow drifts were anywhere from 8-12 feet tall! This was our view out of one of our windows...

How far up? Bill Sent from my iPhone using iPF
Still in the lower peninsula...in the tip of the thumb! Thankfully it's not too far to drive.

Hey, get better early, then you can enjoy the rest of the rest.
Lol
Needed two attempts to understand your words. :o Not that easy when your brain doesn't work as usual. :-)

However:
Thanks, that's always been my intention! ;-)

That looks familiar. My wife's family have a place on the north shore of Lake Erie. Remember going there in the winter on day trips. The snow drifts were so high and packed by the wind, you could walk onto the roof.

Hi Aa--I can relate to your wife's family. I have a picture of my husband where he is touching the roofline from one of the snowdrifts. Not only are they super high, they are hard packed.

We are further north now for a long weekend of skiing and the temps are dropping quickly with winds gusting to 10+ mph. Not sure about early morning skiing or skiing at all today...maybe tomorrow. :(

Just went for a 2-hour Snow shoe trip all around the northern trails here. It's too cold to go skiing at this point, maybe tomorrow!
