What's new

What are you reading now?

Fifty shades of grey. Just wanted to see what all the fuss is about. I can't see why it's addictive? It's not well written and I can put it down with ease therefore it's not ,for me, that spellbinding. I can remember reading Twilight, Harry Potter, all my murder mystery books in two or three days flat!

Just finished "The Scariest Place in the World" by James Brady about the Korean War. Just started on "Oliver Twist" (freebie - Public Domain) by Dickens. Man, I love iBooks! Kindle app is cool too but iBooks is the best. I really like the way the iPad and iPhone sync on both too.

Currently i'm reading "Babe", the story and life of Babe Ruth. Very interesting and well written, must read for any baseball fanatic like I am.

Just started Shadow of the Night by Deborah Harkness which is book two of her All Souls Trilogy. The first book was Discovery of Witches.

Pride and Prejudice is my all time favourite and all the rest of course. I love modern takes too. Im reading another historical romance.

I bought kindle version of the Hunger games. Not the usual stuff I'd read but after a sample it seemed interesting. And I see some of you read it over and over again :)

I don't get it. How are people drawn to erotic Twilight fan-fiction this much? End of literature (modern anyway) as we know it. Sad that people like me, who actually writes quality stories will probably never be known, but this woman can publish fan-fiction and it sells like hotcakes.

True. The writing is not very good. It's titillation reading really. I have to be honest, I got about two thirds through the first book and got bored! It was a bit repetitive and I have to say the Twilight books were more captivating for me. Sorry Moonlit Sonata! What are your books. Didn't know you wrote any?
