Really? What do bummers look like.
Darn spellcheck!!
Let me correct that--hummer/hummingbirds! it did it again and I had to correct it!

That spellcheck is a real bummer isn't it?
I read that the less sugar you put the more hummingbirds you get and will cause less of a territorial issue.
I wish! But no, that's not true. Like most wild animals, a hummingbird treats every scrap of food as if it were the last one on the planet, to be defended vigorously against usurpers. Rather, hang more feeders to attract more birds, assuming the birds are already in the area. (You can't attract birds that aren't there.)
If one bossy hummer successfully defends multiple feeders, hang the feeders out of sight of each other. Then each will get its own little tyrant. OTOH, if there are so many birds at one time that defense is impossible, the bully will give up; in that case, cluster feeders together to create a swarm. Hummer swarms are incredible fun!

Scimonkey I can tell superior knowledge here and Lanny says my info is incorrect about the dandelions.
I see a beautiful summer like morning...I really have to dust off my camera because this hot weather is really speeding up the blooming and expiring of foliage.Spent blossoms abound!
i live inside a city so i won't see any animals except cats and birds
Speaking of cardinals--here's a male and female feeding and enjoying the sun!
