What I see in my backyard...

I had a chance to take some recent pictures of two deer that came to our backyard last Thursday. They stayed with us for about 4 hours resting under the pine tree and grazing in our garden. Here is what I saw in my Backyard:

My husband threw an apple into the backyard, and the young deer immediately came to find it...

Thanks for showing us the pictures. I don't live close enough to the city's edge to get deer in my backyard. Squirrels are a different matter.;)

Did you watch the whole time? If deer showed up in my back yard, I'd probably spend all of their visit watching and taking pictures.

That's very cool Ski. BTW - is that grass now covered with snow?

I'll trade you one deer for one koala...how about that! ;)

Oh, we have our share of squirrels here, too! Black, red and brown squirrels...all very cute looking! :)

I kept looking out the window to see if they were still there. It's hard to do anything when you have deer frolicking in the backyard like that! :)

What great photos, Skimonkey.

Thanks, Richard--we really enjoy how close we are from the wooded areas of our Local University!

I wish...but it is still very green outside. In fact, my herb garden started growing again and I managed to pull some fresh dill off for dinner the other night!

I'll trade you all my slugs for anything!
