What I see in my backyard...

I saw a bison standing by the side of the road last night.

I guess it counts as my back yard is wherever I happen to be.

It sure does count, Kevin!

Any pics by the way? :)

Not this time. It was about 10:30 PM. He appeared from nowhere in the headlights. There's a big herd of them about 30 miles north of where I saw this one, but this is the furthest south I've seen one. He was actually on a public road.

I took some pics a year or so ago of the herd. I'll see if I can find them.

Bison migrating south on a public road? A sign of
the apocalypse. After all there are 5 hours left on the clock in the Pacific Time Zone.

Like a wild herd? Or like one from a private herd that's somehow escaped?

I stopped by a bison farm somewhere in Pennsylvania, where they also had a restaurant that served bison. Those suckers are huge and would probably easily total many cars in a crash. Tasty, though, lol.

Not my backyard, went for a little drive to look at lights...

Glad my 20ft high cedars are flexible! :)

The one in the background is the only segment still standing at its full height. The rest have bent down and some are almost touching the ground.

Is this the same wet snowfall that broke your maple tree?

Wow, AA...that's quite a bit of snow on your cedars!! We only have a spotting of snow here! I see green here!

I just saw this Little Blue Heron roaming the back yard.
