What I see in my backyard...

Those trees do loon scary doesn't it??

On top of everything else going on- our furnace keeps shutting off. So we have to go there and turn it on weekly so the pipes freeze.

Couldn't you put a radiant heater in and have it on a timer or thermostat?

Yes-we do have that going one going up there-but it doesn't protect the entire house from freezing.

In that case, can you demolish some of the house to make it smaller?

Thanks, it was beautiful and even more vibrant looking live at it, when I saw it I had to share.

"Here in Alaska, even the moose pray for spring."

This picture was taken through the window. I feel so fortunate to have moose visit our yard often.
Sometimes we even get black bear visiting. Then we don't venture outside until they are gone.

What a beautiful picture of the Moose praying!

This is why I really love this thread--because we can all share what we see out of our back windows! No Moose or Black Bear crossings in my back yard. Only a Black Bear fully mounted inside our home, but that's it! :)

Thank you for sharing, Iriana!

My pleasure. I'm glad that you like this image.

You have some really near animals outside your backyard, Iriana!

That looks like a lovely place to start up a studio. For art, photography? ...

Thank you :). I love when the animals come in the yard. Even more when they peacefully stay there while I go outside to look at them.

It will be my art studio.

That sounds wonderful--such a wonderful place to have an art studio. A very conducive place to think creatively! :)

Right now, the only critters I have seen the last few days have been some turkey and a bunch of squirrels!

I would love to see pictures of the turkeys. Are they the wild "bronze" turkeys? They are beautiful.

We used to raise the domesticated "wild turkeys". I've got some pictures of them but we don't have the turkeys anymore.

Please show us the turkeys you see in your yard. :)
