Admiral, has the lucky strike fishing lure in your last challenge been lucky for you?

It has. I must admit its styling is vintage like me.
I'm happy without catching a single fish. I'm known to fall asleep with a fishing rod in my hands. :)

Watch out for stray IW bandits approaching silently from 6 o'clock.
To say hallo, of course:-)

If they've just been in, dripping wet.....

That's why I keep the Dradis lit up. In case of bogeys.

Full marks for attempting some double-bagging. But would a lit-up Dradis put off any bogeys hell bent on jumping into running water with huge splashes? I think not.

That's what the Vipers and Raptors are for.

You are forgetting the bogey's unique projectile weapon that stops all Vipers, Vikings, Raptors & Ramblers in their tracks... This one: (here demonstrated by a fairly benign-looking specimen.)

As always, Beware False Propheteers.

Like the Zulus in "Zulu" and Stomp in "Stomp" (direct from the Olympic closure), we bang our spears & dustbin lids in salute to a worthy but fallen comrade.
May he live to fight another day!

Richard, have been looking for some of your recent photos to see if I could spot the current challenge in any of them. No luck so far, but bet it's in there somewhere!

I have just started a challenge, Stranding. The object should be up your street. ;)

This is the challenge I meant! No clues yet found in your recent photos, but think there is a batch I haven't located which is the one wanted...

Am wondering why "up my street"? A clue that isn't helping so far:-)

It's the design. Stylised and vibrant.

It's a canoe.

This is the longest unsolved challenge in the history of "What Is It." Largely due to disinterest.

AA -- copied from main thread

I was genuinely interested. I just couldn't stick around in case I won; the usual reason I don't guess.

My first thought (last night just before going to bed) was a folding chair. Then maybe a seat in a boat, because the pink thing looked like a life jacket. But I'd just come up with that guess when you answered it.

I've noticed the thread is often slow this time of day.
