The item is most significant historically. It's a highly prized artefact at the British Museum.

The Artefact was discovered at a site about 85 miles NE of London. Quite a lot of artefacts were found with it.

Is it an Anglo-Saxon helmet and mask from the Sutton Hoo Treasure, 7th Century.
This would be from a ship burial site discovered at Sutton Hoo, near Woodbridge, Suffolk in 1939.
