Close enough.

It's a 4 to 6 pin trailer adaptor, which, among other things, connects your brake lights to the trailer.

The challenge is yours, SciFan.

Small trailers typically use the 4 pin connector. Larger ones use the 6 pin (because it includes actual brakes, not just lights). My truck has the 6 pin connector so I can tow the RV. I use this adaptor when I tow my mother's small utility trailer. The led lights are so you can test whether the blinkers, brake, running, and hazard lights are working on the truck end. Cheaper adaptors do not have these.

I have no idea what the standard trailer connector is in Europe or other countries. Something to look up the next time I'm bored.
