It's not much fun when there are no pictures. One did appear as an attachment when the post was swiped right to left. Is it just me? What's happening?

Sometimes the RAM on the CPU can get overloaded and cause problems like this.
Try closing the app and removing it and all the other apps from the multitasking bar. When you reopen the app, the photos should be back.

Thank you scifan. In fact it happened automatically (maybe). I saw a reply notification and when I went to open the iPF app it seemed to take a long time, then defaulted back to the home page. I selected it again and everything is back to normal. I will, however, do as you suggest as I understand the theory of jammed ram ;)

That looks like the bow of a ship ,I can't recall the name of that particular part but its designed to cancel out the drag caused by bow waves enabling faster and smoother crossings .

Then again I could be wrong :-(
