It's lake Titicaca, on the border between Peru and Bolivia. The background mountains are the Andes. The town in one of your photos is Copacabana, Bolivia, here's another view.

They were cryptic enough, I was looking for the answer for almost 3 hours. I learned a lot about some of the oldest lakes in the world.

What is this? Where is it located? When was it built?

Hint, it's almost 1,900 years old.

It's the Roman era 'Cornalvo Dam' in Badajoz province, Extremadura, Spain. According to Wiki, it dates to the 1st or 2nd century AD.

The name of the city is Sochi. It's located in Russia. It's hosting the XXII Olympic Winter Games.

The area was populated more than 100.000 years by ancient people of Asia Minor.
The Russian settlement was named Sochi in 1896 and received the status of a city 1917.
It served as rehabilitation center during World War II, and is Russia's major resort town.
