This is Cluny Abbey, a former Benedictine monastery in Cluny, located in France.

It was founded in 910. Three churches were built from the 10th to the 12th century.
It was used as a stone quarry after the French Revolution, until 1813, to build houses. The archives were burned in 1793, and the church was delivered to plundering
What is left, is less than 10 % of the floor area of Cluny III.

Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia? The park is under World Heritage of UNESCO protection. It territory includes 16 lakes connected by waterfalls "formed by the sedimentation of travertine - limestone."

The lakes are Paola, Caprolace, Monaci and Fogliano. All are salt lakes.

The national park was founded in 1934.
