Well, GI says closing the game would be fine. So we have to see if it works by restarting before we go anywhere and then time travel.

Still less fun without gifting and my close friends but still playing anyways. Slowly flying Houston, LA, and Chicago. For stars only with an occasional space flight for the fun of it. Hope a major technical upgrade comes soon!

GI say the next version is developed and testing is going on. It is supposed to restore normal gifting and launching. Hope it does.

Anyone else having problems with availability of planes? I mean that a plane shows unavailable even though it is and we can fly with it.

Yes, but I just ignore it, GI has bigger problems to solve. I just go by my plane inventory o determine my next flight

I'm not getting my pyramid back either. Here is the response, "So there is no opportunity to restore any buildings to the game." I guess it just doesn't matter if it's their fault or not, you just get screwed! I am also finding that I am getting tired of this game. I am playing just a little bit a day, hoping that my interest will pick back up. Perhaps if they fix the game....

I know what you mean. It's amazing how many things I'm getting done around here now that the games not working properly. What's the point if you can't send gifts to your friends? I just return what I receive every day, send to my regulars (and I know they aren't receiving them) and to a rotating group of neighbours that may be getting the gifts or not. I completed a couple of launch kits yesterday but haven't even opened them to see what they contain. I'm bored! bored! bored! This forum is the only thing that keeps me playing right now.

I'm having this problem which seems to be related to planes that I have bought since they restored my game. If I close the game fully then reopen it the problem goes away till the next flight. GI suggested closing the game then shutting the iPad down (full re-boot), but this had no positive affect on the problem. Like you, I just live with this.

Is there a consensus that those with gifting/launching problems have performed the update or had to do the update because of need to restore after a crash? Sorry this is happening...effin GI :-(

On another note....You guys and gals may know this one already, but, a cool tip for those needing coins and still getting free cash: next time the airship comes buy 1 inconvertible coin and all five golden toads. One morning when all your buildings are ready to collect...turn on the inconvertible coin and collect from all your coin-bearing buildings. Then do a golden toad and collect. Rinse and repeat until all you golden toads are depleted. I have earned around 200k coins doing this for each of the last two airship visits, your mileage will vary depending on how many buildings you have. Hope this helps someone!

I haven't updated and I'm having the gifting/launching problems too. Thanks for the tip on the inconvertible coin and the toads. I will try that next time!

I wonder if its their punishment for us stealing the greenies!!!! I can gift from my android and have upgraded on that. If any of my android neighbours need shampoo or benches, let me know think its sending them again
