After months of trying to get the game to link, it just decided to do it out of the blue. I didn't do anything different. It was very strange.

Surprise surprise GI have told me that all my problems are because I have altered the date/ time on my device which is "not allowed". They have given me a code to enter in my add neighbour box but as I cannot add neighbours this doesn't work.

I cannot even find the words to express how angry and exasperated I am! I feel like Janie's picture.

Hmm I thought lots of us were having this problem? I'm sure GI can tell who has taken advantage of their free greenies bug and wonder if they are punishing us for it - but as that was their fault making up some other reason to blame us.

Yep! That's what I thought too. It's ridiculous, I didn't complete last quest either despite visiting only neighbours with the gift shops and having 3 myself. 1 complete collection out of 3 I couldn't do anymore than I did!!! I hate the quests am getting really miffed with the game now, if it wasn't for all you lovely people I would have deleted it ages ago.

It's just ridiculous. Talking to GI is still like talking to a brick wall...
I thought because so many people are experiencing the same problems they might do something about it. Now I wonder if they actually understand what's happening with the game. Same old story; blame the player!
In a way I am happy that you got the same answer as I did, because it makes me feel less singled out. I didn't cheat with the time settings and I'm sure 99% of people with problems didn't either.
I just wish I wasn't so addicted to this game . It could be so great if it all worked properly!
