Hi there!

I just tried one of the new maps. they don't work at all like the other ones:

you need *One map* per flight (like all the other consumables, e.g. flight catering or oscillating beacons)!

Thats why you can buy so many of them from Duke... Then it just looks like you can eventually have map sets dropping from the flights, but I dont know yet what they contain. When you get a star (first one after 20 flights) it just looks like you get the standard stuff...

This news sounds promising and I hope you get restored.
Do you know that if you get your game restored, then your new game will just die? You need to reach level 3 or 4 on the new game just so that you can add neighbours and thus have the ability to put in the code they send you. If it's like my experience, then you will once again see just your old game, with the original user name. Your new game and it's username will live on in cyberspace so others will continue to see it but you will no longer be able to see nor play it.
The main point is that it might be better not to ask forum folk to be neighbours of your new game as you won't be able to interact with them once your old game is restored. I suppose that you can just advise everyone on the forum when your old game is restored so perhaps it's no big deal?
Anyhow, the very best of luck. It's rotten being in GI's hands.

Thanks for the info Nutty. I had assumed that my new game would disappear, should my old one be restored, but thought maybe it would continue with the new username, pity because I was starting to get used to it. I have reached level 9 on the new game, seems I can't get by without my AC fix. Watch this space.

A bit more info: out of 4 flights, I got one chest. it contains only one map... soungs like the kind of destinations for those who have upgraded all the buldings long time ago and dont know how to spend their coins...

Maybe someone already posted this but...after the last two updates, I'm not sure which one, but after the Warehouse reorganization, I cannot find my "Sky Captain" bonuses. I had two that I had collected but not yet used. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place, but wondering if anyone else has noticed this?
