Check your population limit. GI put a "new feature" into the Android game and now they are really messed up and having to sell quite a few buildings in order to add any more new ones.

Also I noticed we can no longer purchase the Brazilian villa and Brazilian cottage, maybe they put them back?

1) OH YEAH...Wabbitgirl called it. My population is now 1884/1400. I will submit a ticket, and see what they say. Probably will recycle the response she posted from the hosed Android players. What FUN.

2) There is now a super mystery building available in the store - 99 greenies. Screenshot below.

3) Looks like they no longer ask you which runway to use to land guest planes. It just picks an open one.

Did you notice if you can now upgrade your Town Hall to level 8? Apparently this is what the Android users were told would happen to help with the "new feature". I really don't think adding 100 or so people to the population limit is going to help much unless they make this new level much higher then previously.

Nope, no level 8 buildings are available.

I also do not see Brazilian buildings available - maybe they will only show now when someone hits that quest.

Was your population cap always 1400 or did this increase? From the documentation I have it should only be 900 for level 7.

Agree i have a cap of 1140 which is level 7 plus extensions from quest buildings so far i havn't found anything different ... For AC additional radars please , tribez code =f517jes.

Has been 1400 on iPad for a while, but I don't remember how it got that high. You can see it at the top of the screenshot I posted above. I have 1350 max pop on iPhone. I never paid much attention to population, because I don't use the huge 3x3 residential buildings. My actual population has never been over 480 on either device, so it was never an issue or something I watched, until now with GI's latest upgrade SNAFU.

I think we should all refuse to upgrade until they fix this bug!

Thanks for being the guinea pig Rehab. I will wait to upgrade game until they fix. The GI Facebook page for Airport City is awash in complaints from people. Like...can't build Skate Rink to complete quest unless the complainant destroys other buildings to get their population below the "new" cap. What a cluster!

Should I update?

What's the big orange and yellow %age sign for in the right upper part of the screen? It doesn't respond if I try it click on it. I also have the icon above it to indicate the offer on greenies (that one does open as I would expect).

Ignoring any entreaties to buy so can't help on % sign.

But the upgrade? Don't do it. I didn't think. Hit upgrade and now find that I have double my permitted population - 2040 rather than 1020. In reality (a place with which GI doesn't seem to be familiar) I think I had about 700 but I had extra capacity because of successful past quests.

However, the population glitch didn't kick in immediately. Took it about 12 hours. Brazilian buildings gone from my game as well but coffee shops still available.

Really glad that I didn't spend any of my carefully hoarded greenies on an expansion.

Complete sh*t storm on the GI FB page.

Recommend THAT NO ONE UPDATE until they fix. There is no good reason to update, until the next challenge starts.

The % icon brings you to three deeply discounted items, usually 33-70% off normal price in greens. For instance, because GI graced me with 1400+ greens when I bought 96 during a 300% sale about 6 months ago, last time they ran the % discount sale, I picked up a fuel catalyst pack (50 of them) for half price, or 5 greens instead of 10. I used them all to accelerate flights for pyramid destinations (see recommended flight routine in previous posts, to get 20 flights done in 6 hours on a single map, with around six items dropped).
