When you have Airport City on both the Ipad and Iphone, can they share the same saved data or do they have to be completely separate games?

Well, i will narrate it as a story :

Once upon a time, I had also asked GI support this question. They said, "I and my developers are happy to see the interest you keep in playing this game. Thank you for sharing your views with us. We will work on it."

After 1 month...
The game gets screwed up and we can no longer exchange gifts.

After six months...
The game is still screwed is and all that GI are doing to 'improve' the game is making it worse.

Now its all up to you to guess if this is possible or not.

You have to have 2 different games going. My iPad is at level 40 and my iPhone is at level 10. I can send gifts from the iPhone to the iPad but I have not tried from the iPad to the iPhone as I have too many neighbours and can't send to them all everyday so I don't send to the iPhone. I started the game when I needed old lanterns for the quest and now I am using it to send the iPad pearl earrings as I need those for the duty free. I play only a couple times a day on the iPhone as everything is so small and without a magnifying glass I can't read the totals along the top.
