It's worth to try in both cases

Launch window should be as short as possible to prevent hijacking the launch.
That's why I think everyone should prepare the set containing: Main Stabilizer, Large Fuel Tank and Explosive Bolt OR Main Stabilizer, Large Fuel Tank, Additional Stabilizer and Solid Fuel to put points at once and this way prevent hijacking the launch.

I agree, really looking forward to it. Just hope I get home from work in time!

hello everyone,
i had been playing the game in the afternoon.the GI servers were up then.i will try to add some of you today evening.

i have seen the posts about joining launches. could anybody tell me the concept and method of joining launches.i would like to go with my friends to space. i am currently at a low level (11).i will be levelling up today as soon as two of my flights arrive back.

Of course your welcome in the forum to join a space launch you need a launch pad I imagine your quite a way from getting that. Not sure how you get the pad if the quest is not showing anymore
As we can,t see what you can see in your game we can't tell what quests you have to complete yet but many of us having been playing these game for 6 months or more and most likely 2 hours a day so the game will get you hocked and its not a fast game to play your in for a long slog. The forum is useful for asking for items you need to compete the quests showing in your game hence that's its main aim, so for example you will see in my signature at the bottom I need fuel hoses to finish some flights to finish a minor quest I have to do.

When I started I used google to help me along the way and read this forum going backwards to give me an idea of what I had to expect going forward hope this helps you and welcome again

It's a new pad 2 practice launch due to start at 6pm UK time 25 April will try and keep it open for an hour to allow later joiners, another major one at the weekend (tbc)

Will post on here when it's starts so i will come here first to per warn you 5 mins before ..

Have added time zones to your names if known might be useful next time

I suppose you already learned by heart values of space items, but I'll post numbers and time needed to renew add option:
120 points = Main Stabilizer (box WITH handle - 2 minutes)
40 points = Large Fuel Tank (2 minutes)
24 points = Explosive Bolt (thin one) (4 hours)
12 points = Additional Stabilizer (box WITHOUT handle) or Solid Fuel (2 hours)
6 points = Small Fuel Tank (30 minutes)
Last player should put smaller items first.
Please check if you have enough items of each kind to fit in 1 hour launch window and have a smooth journey.
(I'm curious as hell whether everyone will get golden box or not. Hope in case of equal number of points GI will not yield 1st place to first person with that number )

I wish I was going to be home just to watch the forum! How rude would it be to go through a meeting with my phone out the whole time and me just reading the forum??? I guess I'll have to catch up on the excitement after the fact. Good luck all! Don't crash the servers! Well, at least not for too long!
