Big Business - game discussion

Your not alone, I have had the turbine 3 times in the last 2 weeks, I just give flower beds instead

Player: MandaLouD City: Mandaville

How weird; and how strange that the errors are not consistent across peoples' iPads. GI have a lot of issues across their games to be honest.

Progressed to the next stage of the hydro plant - I need 10 rulers; I suspect that this is going to be a long haul like the steel details - visited the max amount of friends without a single drop - do I brace myself for a two week wait? This is painful stuff.

There are only a few of us on this stage and we are all waiting for 1 to drop...I am starting on week 2 without a drop....I suspect there is a glitch as it seems like no one is getting any..keep us posted on how you are doing.

<Sigh> I'll let you know if I get any, but based on your response this doesn't look good at all... I'll send a ticket to GI (just to give them something to respond to), and look forward to receiving a "just play longer and harder" response.

CS closed my ticket without the courtesy of telling me they were closing it. That was about not getting the reward for the port achievement. Hmm... Next step?

Here is my strategy: I make cocoa beans, veggies, down, meat, flowers, books, booklets, calendars, wax, motor oil (or similar), aluminum, acid (thickener now), sapphires, silver, plywood, dairy and some other stuff overnight. In the morning I first check the contest, then the assignments. Only after that I unload my goods. There is a good chance I already have something required. I also keep potatoes, paper, down, plywood etc in my inventory so making bunnies or starch is easy. Yesterday I was actually making bunnies and nightstands and giving them away.

That is what I try to do but fell asleep without setting things up...that is a good strategy to use.
My short quest was 1 muffin and I got a gold coin for it...lol

I decline the long task whenever there is pet food or starch involved... ties up milling plants for too long.

Well, I have 6 or 7 fully upgraded mills... It helps.

I try to make sure I get my short on long quests at 10:00 am so I have time to do the stuff like starch overnight.

Not worth it. I would skip it.Often, I get the short quest, just after I set my factory to work on something long term - no chance of making it then.

I lost out on a business card that way yesterday. New strategy is to only do short items around the time I expect my short term quest to begin, that way I can respond faster and maybe get np my business cards.
