I think from now on the keys, cogs etc will be available only for cc. Like, dear players, rejoice, today you will have a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity to buy a case filled with items you need to open that old chest or get that research center working, if you are lucky. Maybe they figured out that we are getting "too many" credits for filling our ships and "can afford" buying keys and crap.
I am not really playing any longer, and definitely not buying credits or suitcases or whathaveyou. I will try to upgrade my old fortress to lvl 2 but I am not going to put too much effort in it. The only reason I haven't uninstalled BB yet is all that money I previously spent on it.

I have been playing without buying city credits, my ratings never seem to change so many are still playing. I would of thought many would quit but the reality is that people are hanging in there. I no longer place in the daily contests but then again I have nothing to upgrade so the silver medals are of no use to me.i think I have fat fingered away 200 city credits over the past 2 months but I still stick in there. I think that I will stop over Christmas shutdown and start some outdoor activities instead of clicking BB items. I will still check in to see if anything changes. I just can't expend the time. For example, I had 54 magic ice from last year so getting the fortress is no big deal, easy pickings. I will only get 5 magic ice a day if I am dilly gent so after another 5 days I will have 25 and that is not even close to upgrade. Maybe next year I will get another 25 ice if I am still around. I will stop rambling now.

Yep. No contests for me either. I don't even click on the icon. I only fill the containers. And it has become tiresome as well. My port is level 3 but I never bother to fill the VIP containers.
I think most veterans are still around for the same reason: too much time, money and effort have been invested to just go ahead and uninstall the game. People are still hoping that some day GI would stop being money-grabbing jerks and make the game enjoyable once again, and less dependent on money. I used to look forward to the new challenges, like that underwater tunnel and the would-be airport but even if these structures will ever become available, I don't think I would enjoy them, given the past experience. Collect random drops, fill the energy bar, produce crap that takes forever to make and never be able to finish in time without spending real money.

And that's precisely why I pulled the plug on BB. Massive drain of time and money... While I had invested a lot (money and time) I deleted the game and feel so much for it... This game was stressful in so many ways; still playing Airport City which is great - quests are all possible without spending cash and you can play at your pace. It's a shame because BB could have been so much more.

Response to my complaint about getting no keys or module parts since upgrade on dec. 9th:

No glitches found. That means they have done it on purpose.

Ahahaha....do you guys really think they read and/or understand our complaints? "Carefully examined by our specialists" means Dina/Yana/ Sophie/Andrew saw the word "glitch" and copy-pasted a "proper" generic response from their Manual.

Sophie has stated this is solved. I have asked why the Christmas task is not an event or why the Ice Fortress is not a building. I think the battery we 'won' is a dud.

...and then she'll pass your enquiry on to their specialist, mark your ticket as closed, and then you'll get a message asking you to rate their support; if you click on "Bad, I am dissatisfied" you'll get a message saying you can't actually rate the support you got any more because the ticket is closed. (I've never clicked on "Good, I am satisfied" as I've never had that particular privilege with this company!!!)
