I have my reindeer and I want to know what habitat to place it, it is negative coins in ice and plant.. Will it always be negative coins?

Hey can anyone help me? I've just started breeding a bone and storm dragon and have a breeding time of 24 hours. Any idea what it could be?

As I know only Crystal has 24h

It's only negative bc the boost on ur island that are making it negative

Correct me if I am wrong but I think you gotta get rid of cold / plant boosts in order to avoid negative effect since reindeer is a combination of plant and cold which are opposites.

I don't bc my habitats are all on different islands so all my dragons are making money but my Raindeer dragons combination of breeding is crappy bc it goes on islands that have boost making it negative while if I change that it will ruin all my other dragons

I have them in cold habitats with no boosts on that island. They are not negative for me.

If your Raindeer is negative or not there's only a difference of 1 coin (same as Sandstorm).
So if you really want it to be positive place a cold or plant habitat on an island without boosts.

Does any know good combos for rares and the reindeer? Been trying hard but got nothing.

I have mine sitting in a plant habitat with plant boost AND lightning boost on the island, so it gets a double deduction bc one of its parents is a seaweed (water/plant). The water part is opposite for lightning boosts. Doesn't matter, since the plant habitat fills up with gold so fast anyway. I wish that the shrines would not only unlock new caps for the dragons but for the habitats too.

Anyway, the fact that parents matter with boosts makes me wonder if MAYBE the gene theory holds water after all....I'm failing at breeding sun and moon.

EDIT: Hmm, this might not be true after all. I tested my theory by removing the lightning, plant and earth boosts (forgot to mention earth boost earlier, my raindeer's other parent was snow who contains air which opposes earth...whew! Complicated!!!). Raindeer is still at -77, but up from -74 with plant boost. What else holds him back???

Well, I got 2 reindeers with no problem on my main account (flower and storm). And I finally got a 48 hour incubation (was trying for blue fire with with storm/fire) but on my baby account :lol: I also finally got one sandstorm and one blue fire, but I can't seem to get them all on the same account! I got the new island and had to upgrade my nursery again, bc I actually had 3 eggs ready to incubate at the same time! Thank goodness for gems from the coliseum. I am working on getting enough gems on the baby account to buy the new island now!

The upgrade isn't perfect (would have preferred more max habitats) but it does have me playing again, since I had almost given up... So I guess it accomplished that much . My 9 yr old son is *loving* the reindeer dragon!!!

Just to be sure you breed harvest level to 10 and sell to reach 50 for the shrines right?

And every level after 20 you gain another shrine?

I dont have the second breeding ground yet but given the time its taking me just to go lvl 21, it seems it would take forever to max out lol. Or is this deliberate so the newbies can catch up and rare dragon hunting wont be as frustrating.

Both my rainbows came from gene theory seaweed left firefly right

Both reindeer came from snow on left and seaweed right

My sun came from scorch on left and snow right

My moon came from scorch on left snow on right

Hmmm...I know. I have the same maybe. If nothing else maybe it increases chances. I don't know. Lol. I've been so back and forth on it. If I don't get moon soon I think I'll try the gene thing to create it and see if it works. Hmmm...weird on you edit! Are you sure you know what the exact parents are of all that made the pair to make rainbow? Ugh! This theory is driving me insane! Now I want to know why your in the negative though...
