I'll take the fried rice without lap cheong. We had it overmuch as kids, so my siblings and I grew to dislike it.

Still craving a burger, so planning to grab a bacon cheeseburger and fries.

I still love it, grew up with it too, do you like lup yook? My favourite is Siu yook

One word at least Admiral.....delicious!

Love bubble tea, but I've tried to cut down since hearing about the possible carcinogens. I mostly get milk tea, no bubbles. I like original milk tea, Chinese style. I like Thai iced tea, too, but the original way, no bubbles, or Thai iced coffee. Vietnamese coffee is the most decadent, though.

No not right now...being a summer stone fruit we won't be seeing them until at least September.

I'll be waiting!

We get some fruits out of season. I guess they're grown in some countries where the seasons are different (or some mad scientists have been hard at work).

I love summer fruits.

Cherries are here, yeah. I've already eaten several pounds. I wish a mad scientist would get to work on extending cherry season.

Kay, I haven't had Vietnamese tea. I'm going to have to check that out. Carcinogens with bubble tea? I thought the bubbles were large pearl tapioca?

Google "bubble tea and carcinogen" and you'll see stories about how some bubble tea ingredients were found to be contaminated. It was widely reported in Asian and alternative press awhile ago, but didn't make mainstream press, because many people don't know what bubble tea is.

Vietnamese coffee (made with sweetened condensed milk) is heavenly and rich. Vietnam was a French colony before, and some great food and drink resulted. One of the best are banh mi, some of the most delicious sandwiches ever. (Plenty of info via Google, too.)

Adding a link that describes banh mi (but the list of NYT recommendations is a fail, because there are better banh mi to be eaten than what they've recommended):
