Speaking of cans, I just cleaned out my pantry and threw out about 20 cans that were expired. I hate being so wasteful, should know better not to over buy. Of course I emptied all of them than recycled it.
You're a good egg for emptying and recycling. I'd just pitch them out. We have very few cans of anything, and they rarely go to waste. The only things I buy are canned soup (for a pinch, in case home alone without husband-meal-maker, lol) and lychees for lychee martinis. And amazingly, those lychees always get used, lol.
I'm thinking that there is a reason why soup doesn't come in bags and it's as good a reason as to why bread shouldn't come in cans.......
