Having pepper steak with basmati rice and fresh mango for dessert! :)

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk...yup...I bought it!! :)

Deliash, Ski.

Yesterday we had frijoles ( red beans, mincemeat, onions and small veg cooked in the pressure cooker) with brown rice. The meal will taste better today after 24 hours maturing time. :)

The galley is humming tonight.

An old favourite is simmering on the gas top.
"6 Bean Stew with Red Potatoes."

This dish fuelled the insurgency during the Tauron Rebellion.

That also sounds delish, Richard. I feel the same way about spaghetti sauce...always better the next day!

It all sounds like yummy autumn/winter fare. Porridge is my favourite breakfast. Ahhh. I love stodge.

Yes, i did see that, Scifan. I also put salt in my porridge. It just gives it that little bit extra taste. It's one of the few things to get salt. My veg have been salt free since my girls were babies and we couldn't put salt into their veg. It's not something I miss to be honest.

That sounds a bit hard to chew. :)

Quorn is marketed here as a meat substitute. It isn't too bad.

I've never understood meat substitutes, it's not as if carnivores eat broccoli substitutes made from cows...........
