Food anyone?

Canned by you or do you use dried beans?

I soaked the beans in a large pot uncover overnight. Then today, I let it boil for 40 minutes and than simmer for 2 hours. I also added my ham bone from Christmas and also some carrots, celery and onions.

The crew is salivating up here. Prepare for suborbital transfer. ;)

I have a ham bone with lots of ham bits on it saved frozen from Christmas. I will be throwing that in the crockpot with some beans soon. Always smells so good cooking! And of course i make my awesome cornbread to go with it. Mmmmm! Just grabbing some Chinese from the fantastic Chinese place down the road today though.

My corn bread muffins are looking pretty good too. Peaking nicely in the oven as we speak!

Thanks to chimom for reminding me of that!

OK - iPF members will be happy to know the Prize of Michigan is home safe on terra firma.

The Galley crew enjoyed a break and everyone up the line had a fabulous 15 Bean feed.

Ski - Lt. "Racetrack" Edmondson apologies for the light chop during re-entry.

My best to the forum, compliments to the Chef and a good night to the folks of "Water Wonderland."

"Si Quaeris Peninsulam Amoenam Circumspice"

PS - The chief navigator pulled up a photo from a recent flyby of Mercury. I think you'll find it interesting to say the least.

On behalf of Michigan, we were pleased to have served the IPF crew and members a warm bowl of soup and corn bread muffins!

Feel free to stop by for hot chocolate and chocolate vanilla Bobbs afterwards!

Oh and love the photo--Amazing picture of mercury--Mickey is everywhere!! :)
