On behalf of Michigan, we were pleased to have served the IPF crew and members a warm bowl of soup and corn bread muffins!

We too made soup yesterday. Chicken with fresh herbs from the garden, dried chick peas, carrots, potatoes, onion, celery, leeks and a tinned winter veg soup and a cube of chicken stock. Everything was started off in stages in the pressure cooker then transferred to the slow cooker.

It looks like iPF minds think alike, and AA's crew has staging posts circling the earth, or is it Gaia?

That sounds delicious, Richard. I think that will be my next pot of soup. I don't like to rush when making soups, I like to let it simmer for a few hours for the flavor infusion.

It is two pieces of chocolate round cake with cream frosting filling inside.

That does look like Joe Louis--I am sure those taste delicious also.

This was a China set my sister and her family bought me as a house warming gift when I purchased my first home 15 years ago.

First time I had Menudo (ages ago) was in Mexico. We ate at a little place off the beaten path. The cook used "tripe".

I was hesitant to dig in but glad I did because the flavour blast was amazing.

As for the cheese fries ... yes.
Potatoes first - I season them cold, let sit then BAM into a hot, almost smoking skillet to sear. Then veggie topping and cheese til melted.
