Food anyone?

First time I had Menudo (ages ago) was in Mexico. We ate at a little place off the beaten path. The cook used "tripe".

I was hesitant to dig in but glad I did because the flavour blast was amazing.

As for the cheese fries ... yes.
Potatoes first - I season them cold, let sit then BAM into a hot, almost smoking skillet to sear. Then veggie topping and cheese til melted.

I have never had it with tripe, but I suppose I would taste it just the same. You can alway at least try a dish and see if you like it first.

What do you season your fries with?

I start with course ground salt to sweat some of the water out of the potatoes to keep them firm otherwise they break down fast from the heat and become mushy.
I like to sprinkle onion juice on too - touch of dried basil or oregano and a little pressed garlic.

I think we will both have a great dinner tonight, AA!

Tonight, I can stay up a little later. I have to wake early, but not at 4 am. Can't wait--to sleep in 'til 5 am!

I have to think about this before opening the bag. I mean should I tear into it with reckless abandon like I would if it was from Fritos? Maybe I should be more respectful and cut it open with scissors and, eat only a handful from a bowl rather than right from the bag.

Yes, interesting choice of crisp/chip. I love yoghurt so I expect it would be great. I wish the UK sold Fritos. They are a specialist crisp here and way to expensive

Uh...oh. Saw this too late.
I did use a pair of scissors and Christina is an accomplished chipmaker.
My son and I devoured the contents. :)
