What's new

Food anyone?

In Starbucks over here they do Cheese and Marmite panini's, now those I love!

I've never been able to bring myself to try Marmite or Vegemite. Neither sounded appetizing. But now I'm more curious. I've never been tempted to buy a jar, but I'd be willing to buy a sandwich, because I AM that lazy, lol.

I recommend Wendy's frosties, Smashburger burgers and sweet potato fries, and pulled pork sandwiches.

Oh, Smashburger looks great. I just googled it. How have I never been there?! It's going onto my To Eat list now! (Other people have To Do lists; I prefer my To Eat list, lol.)

Loving this conversation on Marmite, we have that here but most of us eat Vegemite. Do you have that over there too?

I love it on toast or very fresh bread and butter. Cheese is great with it also! ;)

We have Vegemite, the Aussies over here swear by it but me, I can't tell much of a difference if any.

I can't remember what Marmite tastes like, I haven't tried it since I was a kid. But I do remember they were a lot alike.

Aussies will choose Vegemite over Marmite any day.....it's just so Australian!

They did launch another vegemite with cheese added, it wasn't such a nice colour and didn't do so well, even after running a competition to come up with a name for it.
Can't even remember what it was eventually called and don't know if they even sell it any more.

Now I'm thinking I need some marmite on toast with lashings of butter for breakfast!

Bring it on!

Never bought the squeezy bottle, always the jar for me. Very useful addition to any kitchen. Toast, stews, etc...

Have to say a tin of Tate & Lyle's Golden Syrup is right next to it though with a jar of honey!

I haven't had PBJ for a while now but I keep the ingredients close by now since you got me hooked.

See, marmite is going strong across the developed world, c'mon USA, you don't want to be left behind!

I forgot to take a picture of the fish, but did get a half pound of wild salmon. They also had a fish called John Dory. Looks like a good white fish, but I need to look it up. They didn't have less than a 2 fillet pack at almost 2 lbs though, way too much food.
