yes i just leave them to die back in the pot,some of them i just potted up this year when we gravelled over a section of the garden,i love how they just pop back up year after year,slugs and snails love them though.Loving all the pics of everybody's garden!

yes you can easily split them,i like them to get big though,they'r so showy.Hmm...Good idea...They grow so big in the garden...then you have to consider splitting off sections of it as well.

Aren't they just? I do also adore them but I love lavender, roses, brooms .... Hee Hee. I love them all. Thanks for the praise. The garden is quite large and difficult to keep tidy. It was just grass when we moved in. Mind you, looking at Richard's immaculate garden makes me realise we don't spend nearly enough time in there. Ours is more wild and cottagey? It's always a work in progress. We fenced the garden into two halves, one section for veg and fruit and the other flowers. I'm hoping for a better crop of fruIt and veg this year after the disastrous rainy weather last year decimated it.
