Gardening!

Loving all the pics of everybody's garden!

Ivy...do you keep the hostas in the pots all year round?
yes i just leave them to die back in the pot, some of them i just potted up this year when we gravelled over a section of the garden,i love how they just pop back up year after year, slugs and snails love them though.

Hmm...Good idea...They grow so big in the garden...then you have to consider splitting off sections of it as well.

Aren't they just? I do also adore them but I love lavender, roses, brooms .... Hee Hee. I love them all. Thanks for the praise. The garden is quite large and difficult to keep tidy. It was just grass when we moved in. Mind you, looking at Richard's immaculate garden makes me realise we don't spend nearly enough time in there. Ours is more wild and cottagey? It's always a work in progress. We fenced the garden into two halves, one section for veg and fruit and the other flowers. I'm hoping for a better crop of fruIt and veg this year after the disastrous rainy weather last year decimated it.

I love all sorts of gardens and the way they are designed. I find it such a pleasure to find different flowers and plants that others have that I don't and finding out where they bought them. It is so fun to have a variety. Our garden can have more time to tend to, but that's all I can give at this time! Wish it were more, but I have to work!:)

We're just getting on top of ours again after the winter, its quite big and we're trying to make it low maintenance as we're getting older.

Yes, that's my trouble too. I suffer from an old hoof kick to my lower back which is giving me jip.

I'm all about low maintenance garden these days! I have transplant one hibiscus tree and then split some other things and then I am done...I think!! :)

Yes it's hard work making it low maintenance but once you do all the work its so much easier,i try to keep to the little and often idea but it doesn't always fit in.

Too true. We don't buy as much as we used to do. Just annuals and veg.
