So, Anthea....still sporting the make-up?
Haha! Yes, I woke up this morning with it looking a little smudged, then did the school run, chatted to a few mums, all of whom looked rather surprised, did some gardening in the front garden, smiling and waving at passersby, all of whom speeded up a little...
No, I am pleased to say, I removed all traces of it, and got some of the remover in my eye, which was really unpleasant. I will be applying a more conventional look this evening when we go out for dinner and a band.

Relief today, only 104-ish. I didn't go outside till the sun went down. It is still probably 95 outside. It will be lovely again in November!That's unbearable! At those temps it's impossible to function in any capacity. Hope you get relief soon!

Wow, it looks like I've missed a lot the past few days.
Val I'm very jealous about the temperatures but on my way south to find them myself!
Looks like the words didn't get finished… Here's mine:

W: witticaster
X: xeransis
Too bad I can't finish them as were doing the groups of three. I really wanted to use "Zanana"! Someone finish these off....
I'm not sure I got the makeup and hair thing so I'll pass on that one...lol

I feel for you Val, I don't like extreme heat either. In summer I find myself thinking "it's only 35 (celsius) today, not too bad", which is CRAZY. So, commiserations.

I have just made a mini greenhouse out of milk crates, to grow seedlings, and am now having a cup of tea. Have also walked 11,422 steps so far today, according to my pedometer. So am feeling smug and virtuous.
