Wireshark capture of an iPad
Hello..I am new to apple devices. I did work with apple computers when the "Fat Mac" was the latest and greatest but have worked with PC's much more lately. However, I have been given an iPad 3 for testing purposes and understanding how it interacts with a wireless network. Which brings me to my first question: how does one go about using Wireshark on a laptop to capture data passing to and from an iPad?
I am using Aruba Wireless APs and controllers. I need to capture the initial logging into a network by the iPad. The iPad is using IOS6. I am familiar with the path apple devices use to determine captive portal connections and believe this may be an issue.
Any thoughts are welcomed...thanks--tail_rotor
