Hi guys. I'm new. I have had this iPad for less than two months, but am very worried about my decision to have purchased the smallest capacity. I have hardly anything on my new iPad, and it won't even let me download a Martha Stewart magazine, saying I must clear space. I have never had issues with space storage on my iPhone. Have only one movie downloaded. What to do?

Hi and welcome to the Forum. It does seem strange that it could be full with hardly anything on your iPad. If you go into Settings, then General, at the top is About and this will show you everything about your iPad and what is on it. It will also show your capacity and Available space. Have a look here.
It's also a good idea to power down your iPad occasionally and do a restart. This will help it to run smoothly. Press and hold the power off button at the top right, a slide will appear to power off. Slide this and a whirly will appear, when it has disappeared your iPad is now off. Now press and hold the same button until the apple logo appears, wait a few seconds and your iPad will turn back on. See if you can now download your magazine.
If not you will have to do a reset, hold down the power off button simultaneously with the home button. Keep holding them down, you will see the power off slide appear and disappear , when the apple logo appears release the buttons. It will take a little longer for your iPad to start this time. I hope this clears the problem. Let us know what happens.

Hello, I'm Nunie, I've had my pad1 since March of this year but new to the whole forum. I'm still trying to get a love relationship with it. I love it enough to play with it at home in bed, but don't love it enough at times cause I feel like I'm not using it to its whole potential; whatever that may be. Although I can say I like it enough to have had it this long!!! I hope to learn a lot on this forum.

Hi Charles and welcome to the Forum. I just went to the search feature and input 'volume' and I see what you mean. Try adjusting what you input and it will make a difference. If you input 'volume control' you will get the desired information. Can you explain your problem with sending a message a little more. Having said that you will find that doing some searches is the best way to answer your questions, if then you cant find what you are looking for then by all means post your question, there are many friendly and informed members here only too willing to help you. A great thread which will give you many tips and shortcuts for the ipad is Tips and Tricks - for those of us who don't know. Enjoy!!
