Wow ! The white on black thing worked !!!! Thank you soooo much !!!! Thanks for the splash top tip -I will go check that out.

I'm so glad that worked for you, I had heard a lot of other members using it and finding it very good also. Splashtop is a brilliant app, I heard from someone else yesterday that it was on sale, I hope it still is for you. There is an app called Appshopper and what is great about it is that after you input all the apps that you want it will tell you when they come on sale. I have gotten many apps this way for free, mind you some never seem to come on sale at all. Hope this helps you. Enjoy!!

Might help if Jonny Apple gave me instructions on how to make posting to start with, back, forward, back in circles but still no clue! Mystery

hello from dncngber in AZ I am retired, but my new career is a care-giver for my wife who is a patient in advanced stages of ALS.. I am very interested in the use of the I-pad for ALS patients or other persons with limited voice and voluntary muscle control. There are other specialty computer devices available, but I hope the I-pad will be an economical alternative..........

Hi there. Funnily enough we had a new member yesterday with the exact same introduction. Word for word practically. The only difference is the name. I see you are from USA. But then having said that in another post you say hi from Asia. You do get around.

Thanks for that Rich, that was the third one in as many days. All the same person I would say. My, the lengths they will go to. They should at least get their stories straight and be original :)

Best to do it in a dedicated section - such as Help, or iOS or AirPrint - but the generic Help section is usually fine.

The problem with this introductory section is that most Members don't read it very often.

Tim

Newbie here. So far so good (3weeks !)

I have a couple of issues. should I raise them here ?
As Tim said, if you want help for a specific issue with your iPad...search for an answer first and if you don't find it, create a thread in the appropriate forum. Here's how to do that:

http://www.ipadforums.net/new-membe...-creating-posts-starting-new-threads-how.html

If your question is about using our website or iPF App, then by all means, this forum is for "Site Assistance" as well so you can post your question here.

Enjoy the forum!
