Careful with this stuff Titoo, it is also a fake. I totally appreciate how desperate you all are for iPad2 jailbreak news, and I know you can't check it, but any real genuine news or releases will in all the main blogs and forums first, including this one. There won't be any miracle iPad2 jailbreaks which pop up on sites like that from a previously unknown source... It just doesn't work like that.

Yes, that's right.
And one other note for all of our forum members new to the jailbreak scene, NEVER PAY FOR THE JAILBREAK.
The jailbreak softwares (pwnagetool, redsn0w, greenpois0n, etc.) are all offered for free by the developers.

Good news

I've been reading that the iPad 2 jailbreak will be out in a week from sat so sometime this weekend I believe It's by green....you know the rest lol can't wait but as was said it's the best idea to be n stay on 4.3 as they said the jailbreak will be for 4.3 n untethered!

Aside from that stated virus payload being, AFAIK, impossible to achieve with current exploits, geohot_us is also a fake JB twitter account. Geohot is not on twitter officially. ikeygen is not an official JB source.

I don't want this thread, which lots of people are finding a useful place to sound off, to start collecting spam. We have a zero tolerance of spam here.
I'm making an assessment that nobody is deliberately spamming yet. But if in doubt, just don't post external links! If it continues we will need to start taking more serious action.

If this was directed towards my link, believe me I never intended any spam. This was not the only place I saw warning of this virus. It was just the quickest reference I had at the time. My only intention was to warn would be jail breakers of a possible risk! So many people seem to be getting desperate, for an iPad 2 JB, that they might come across sites with mal intentions. Even if it's a hoax, we should all be reminded, to stay on the safe side! This forum is the best place to find info on this subject! Best regards!

I think for now to be safe:

1. Subscribe to this thread, I'm sure as soon as there is any solid news of a jailbreak for the iPad 2 it will be released here within minutes (if not seconds).
2. For those who havnt upgraded to 4.3... DONT, this is to ensure that you are able to jailbreak your device if the jb is only released for 4.3.
3. Save your shsh blobs now, you won't be able to save them for 4.3 but you can save 4.3.1 - f4780y has given us a very helpful thread all about shsh blobs (are you thinking what are these blobs? Vist that thread now, the link is in his sig)
4. Be patient.
