Signing starts as soon as Apple releases the firmware. It woulnd't be installable otherwise!

Some clarification and updates from the dev-team,
"iPad2 update: The iPad2 jailbreak remains under development. As you may know, the original exploit @comex developed in the first week of the iPad2 release was mysteriously fixed by Apple within days of its development. Partly because of this, don’t expect much public discussion of the iPad2 jailbreak until it’s actually finished and ready for release (and please avoid asking about it). In all liklihood, it will be a userland exploit like the first (unreleased) one, not dependent on bootrom dumps. The first one can’t be released even for those with the original 4.3 firmware due to legal (distribution) reasons."

That means:
- We won't hear any news until it's released. If we will hear anything - that will be a rumor.
- They didn't find exploit yet. Even if they had, they won't tell us until it's released.
- This "In all liklihood, it will be a userland exploit" looks promising (that they found the exploit). But still fishy.

First they said that comex's first jb was patched by apple within first few days........then they said they cant release it because of distribution rights.....which one is it? Why would you even want to distibute something that is patched. Starting to lose faith in the dev teams jailbreaking abilities!

Comex IPad 2 jailbreak works with iOS 4.3, but he can't release it due to copyright issues. And it the exploit he used got fixed by Apple in iOS 4.3.1. So if comex ever where to release the jb, which will not happen, than it would have been for iOS 4.3 only.

It would be nice if @comex is really still working on the jailbreak and he's gonna just bust it out one weekend soon. Apple found out about the first one and patched it within days. Maybe comex is being silent so no one will find out and tell apple like before.....
