what you must do it just simply hold down the home button and power button together until the apple shows up. maybe 15 seconds or less.

you did not begin the restore process so your able to just kick it out of recovery/dfu mode with what I told you.

He already got it fixed. You are correct though. Sort of.

Saw as we wait for the imminent arrive of ios5. Am I right in thinking that if I install this on my ipad I will then be able to do the Blobs thing and then jailbreak it.

I am on version 4.3.5 and forgot to save the blob SHSH blob info.

No. From what we know, blobs will be irrelevant for IOS 5 once it has a public release. We will know for sure next week, but blobs are likely only to remain useful if you have them for 4.x.
