[Personal] Review of ZAGGmate (Bluetooth Keyboard/Case)

The arrow keys only work on certain apps. It's the way Apple's software is designed. They work when entering text in notes, or text fields in Safari and various other apps. At the moment, they don't work for scrolling in Safari. This is not a problem with the keyboard but with iPad software. Apple could change this at any time but it hasn't happened yet.
 
I ordered my Zaggmate keyboard for iPad 2 in April. I received it some three weeks later but unfortunately had some functional issues. I emailed Zagg and within one day they had promised a replacement...no quibble... I received the replacement within two weeks and am very happy. Zaggs customer service is the best I have experienced. I am just hoping they set up their Ireland facility quickly so that I can order without suffering the VAT and import charges from the US.
 
i love mine, but it is only 2-3 months old, and the foam is already coming unglued from the sides around the case.....i am not even that heavy of a user of my ipad 2, and was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this? will they replace it if just a defect?
 
happy....but

I have had my Logitech Keyboard for iPad2 for about 2 months now and yes the internal protective liner is starting to come away. I thought this was enevitable give the shallow edge compared to the Zaggmate. I had already complained when my first one developed an early fault (see my earlier post) and Zagg were exceptionally helpful and replaced it without charge. I don't want to complain again in case they think I am a serial moaner!! I just hope it holds out or alternatively I can find a suitable adhesive to deploy my own repair.
 
I completely understand how frustrating it would be to have the foam peel on your Logitech Keyboard Case by ZAGG after only a couple months of use. Thanks for the reply but as said, my first Logitech Keyboard developed a hard fault and was promptly replaced without any additional charges. The replacement arrived with the inner lining already peeling in some areas with residue of adhesive along he edges. Also some of the inner lining was not up to the edge, for example fell short of the earphone cutout by approx 1/4". That said, it was and remains fully functional and Zagg offered a discount which i accepted. All the time it is working I am happy and I do not want Zagg to think that am just looking for the next thing to complain about. The Zaggmate was a great product and the Zaggfolio which I have pre-ordered looks good as well, however It seems tthe mass production of a popular product after the union with Logitech has suffered some basic workmanship issues and that some of these issues may be due to a successful design (Zaggmate) being updated for the thinner ipad 2. It is only an opinion, I love the Zagg products (I have Zagg Buds, Aqua buds and the original Zaggmate) and the customer service is absolutely superb!!! Keep up the good work......I will see if I can find some glue!!!!!
 
it's a very comrehensive introduction to everyone. ZAGG keyboard is one of the famous accessory for ipad, but you gave us a different view of it, thanks very much!

same problem pairing zaggmate ipad 2 keyboard

If Zagg people monitor this site, please help

I just purchased a zaggmate i pad 2 keyboard.

Whenever I try and pair the keyboard I get the same "pairing took too long" message. I have reset my ipad, updated the o/s

My friend has the exact same keyboard and it pairs with my ipad fine and immediately sends the code.

I suspect my keyboard is dead but would appreciate any advice to try and get it working before I send it back

Zagg Pairing Issue

Simple answer is you won't ! This si the same problem that I had before my power switch failed ( read my earlier post). I was trying to pair using the instructions and all I received was the same 'too long to pair' window. I reset my iPad and Logitech keyboard and selected 'Forget this Device' before trying to pair again and nothing! Contact customer services, they are excellent!!
 
I'm very sorry to hear that you're having a difficult time pairing your Logitech Keyboard Case by ZAGG with your Apple iPad 2. When messages like this normally appear, the solution I've found best, was to remove all Bluetooth keyboards from my settings and reset my Apple iPad 2 and my Logitech Keyboard Case. Once I've reset both devices, I then re-pair my Logitech Keyboard Case with my Apple iPad 2.

If this does not resolve the issues you are experiencing when pairing your iPad 2 and your Logitech Keyboard Case, then I would recommend charging your keyboard, and attempt to pair the two devices together, after your keyboard is fully charged.

Please let me know if continue to experience issues with pairing your Logitech Keyboard Case by ZAGG with your Apple iPad 2.
