Great. Now what am I going to tell the insurance adjustor? Wail.

You could mention that in your traverses across the space/time continuum the world is due to end at midnight on 31st December 2012 and unless he settles your claim promptly you won't be able to return (forwards) to that time and save us all.

Love it. Off to check the small print in my policy to make sure that the legal weasels didn't put in a clause about time or space travel.

I don't recall reading or viewing any science fiction in which the Utopian ideal wasn't flawed.
Humans are imperfect. We'll never get it completely right.

You realize that the Cylons run Android, don't you?;)

September 16 - 1963 - "The Outer Limits" premiered on television.

Got the box sets for Christmas a few years back. The show was brilliant and so ahead of its time that it still stands up.

You made out like a bandit I would say.
This reminds me I have a book on reserve waiting at the library.

Here are some photos of one of the prizes in my science fiction collection. It's the program book from the very first World Science Fiction Convention. The convention was held in New York City on the 2-4th of July, 1939.

Yes, that does look very interesting. I, too, love time travel stories. I like to see how they match up with MY ideas of how it should work.

I like the recent Denzel Washington one - "Déjà Vu." Very interesting treatment of time travel.
