The "Anything Goes" thread

Yup! Patience is a virtue, so said my Ouma! As rich said, it will be quicker once the first one is done. Mine don't take very long at all now!

Alright, fair enough.

My poor punkin had to go to Petsmart to get her nails clipped and get a brushing. She doesn't let me do either thing (I'd need 3 arms to do it successfully, since scruffing her is the only way I can hold her firmly) so I try to take her in as infrequently as possible. But her long nails were definitely starting to get to her, and snag my carpet, so off we went. Poor thing got brushed on her tummy, back legs, and tail - three sensitive spots to her - so she was whiney for the first few minutes we were home. But then she ate a lot of lunch and is relaxing in my room.

A pic of her I actually took with my iPad the other day:

It's one of my favorite pics I've ever taken of her actually!

That sounds exactly like our Mischka. The exact same 3 sensitive spots for her. I do it though and I clip her nails first as she gets a bit feisty. She doesn't mean to lash out, she just can't help herself. She starts whining as soon as we start, although she loves getting it on her chest and head. My daughter holds her while I do it.
She has the most luxurious fur. She's a British Shorthair

Oh Hayes, he's gorgeous. I had a little boy once who had the same markings on his face. Coogie bear

And gpg. I forgot to say. I love the coloring of your punkin too. Just gorgeous too

But then I think all cats are gorgeous

Aww thank you. She's definitely the prettiest tortoiseshell I've ever seen. I'm biased but I also speak the truth! (I call her punkin, and other things, but her name is actually Paisley. :))

This is my girlfriends new dog, he's nearly a month old and is the alpha of his litter. He is awesome.
He's precious. :)

Guys, I had such trouble with my phone 4 this morning. It went dead, literally, no response. I wasn't doing anything to it at the time. After calls to Tesco etc... We had got to the point where they were sending me a postage bag to collect it when Gab suggested I hold the top and bottom buttons again for as long as possible to see if the apple sign would appear. And it did! I did that myself and with the Tesco chap but it didn't work then. When it did it was connected to the laptop. iTunes didn't pick up the fact that the phone was synced at all. Weird don't you think? Am I the only one having problems on here? I'm jinxed, swear to god, I am!

How old is your iPhone? Is it on all the time and are you a heavy user?
AA

2 or 3 months old
No, I only turn it on when I need to use it. I am conscious of battery.
I use the iPad more than the phone. I use the phone for maybe 10 calls a day, when I don't have iPad access (updates) or for music. No, I'm not a heavy user at all.

What happened to you happens to me after 18 months or so. My smartphone is on 24/7 (on call) in heavy use 10 hours a day. 2 years tops it just burns out and goes dark. AA
